Seasonal Unlocks

There are a variety of customization items that are only unlocked for purchase (with Lore) for a limited period of time, usually during an associated calendar holiday season (such as the Festivus items at Christmastime). The developers will also occasionally make items available for special events or announcements, but there is no specific schedule. If a new seasonal item is available for unlock in the Lore Store, the usual notification will appear in the game's main menu.

Rubbish

Items collected during a campaign that have not been unlocked in the For The King Lore Store will be indicated with the Rubbish tag, and cannot be used until the unlock requirements have been met and the item has been purchased in the store.

Unlocking the golden gun

The Golden Gun was, in the past, unlocked by finding and defeating a single Gold Leprechaun. As of October 2021, the game's files now indicate that players must find and defeat a Treasure Boat in order to unlock the gun. It is interesting to note the Treasure Ship is crewed by 3 Gold Leprechauns.

Resetting Lore

Resetting the Lore Store will cause you to lose all unlocked items in the store (not tied to special achievements) and it will return your Lore count to 0. This includes your current campaign, as well as any saved games.

Transferring lore between Steam and Epic

In the IronOak For The King directory (see below), there is a profile folder for Steam, and another folder for Epic. Simply rename the file from either folder that you want to replace (don't delete it, in case something goes wrong), and copy over the file you want. When you launch the game from either platform, it will prompt you to upload to the cloud, or download from the cloud. Select the "upload to cloud" option, and you'll have all your lore goodies from the other platform's save when you launch!
