Find Treasure is a character skill in the game For The King.
Description
High chance to find overworld treasure once per day.
Effects
Find Treasure is a passive skill that grants a 10% chance to potentially spawn a treasure chest in the Overworld on the turn of the character who possesses the skill. When Find Treasure successfully rolls to proc, there must be a suitable hex to spawn the chest. If not, the proc does not go through. Thus the chance of a chest spawning is less than 10% on average.
This chest, like most other chests, has a slight possibility of being a mimic in disguise.
Treasure Chest Location
The treasure chest will be spawned on a randomly chosen, traversable, empty, land hex. The hex must be at least four hexes away from at least one of the characters in the party. The hex must also be no more than seven hexes away from at least one of the characters that it is at least four hexes away from. Thus, the character whose location is used to calculate the chest's spawn hex is not necessarily the character whose Find Treasure ability spawns the chest.
