Description
Biomes not only differ visually, but also have different effects on the game.
For example, characters move faster in Golden Plains than in Poison Bog. Also, some biomes will raise or lower the probability of being ambushed.
Certain biomes, such as Poison Bog, may contain corrupted hexes.
In For The King there is a capital and a small town (there is only a capital on the islands), a Hero Statue, and a Sanctum in every biome. For The King II's biomes do not follow these rules.
