Description

Mead is a one-time use consumable that Protects the user from the next attack they recieve. There are two variants of mead, one uncommon and the other rare.

Acquired

Uncommon Mead

Can be found as an uncommon drop in Dungeons.

Can be looted or gifted from world Events.

The Hobo starts with this item.

Rare Mead

Obtained from story quests such as after clearing the pirates from the Inn in the Into the Deep campaign.

Rare Mead seems to apply Poison to the consumer as a negative debuff. No logical reason why this occurs. It just does!

Trivia

The fact that mead can negate damage is possibly referencing how alcohol was often used to numb pain before modern painkillers were invented.

Mead seems to be a very popular beverage in the For the King world as shown by the Mead Hat that can be equipped as a cosmetic.
