Sword

The sword weapon icon.

Swords are Bladed Weapons in For The King with a primary focus on the Strength Stat, though there are some unique weapons in this typing which have alternative stat focuses.

Swords come in One-Handed and Two-Handed variants, Allowing one to choose between the usage of a Shield, or to focus more heavily on damage output. While all swords are different, they tend to share common effects and types of attacks.

As with most weapon types, the Two-Handed status on a weapon is lettered by the double hand icon (See right) located in the top left corner of the Item's Card.

Common types of attacks for swords are as follows:

Cleaves, Attacks which may cause the Bleeding Effect.
Wild Swings, Attacks which cause Area of Effect or Splash Damage.
Slashes, Attacks which focus primarily on single target high damage output.
Stabs, Attacks which tend to have Armor Piercing abilities.

It's also worth noting that the Sword-Type weapons have Glass variants, as with most other weapons types. However this is only seen in the One-Handed sword type as for now.

Patch 03 (Released 4/4/17) Brought with it not only new sword class weapons, but many weapon updates to old favorites.
