Splash attacks are attacks that can deal excess damage to enemies immediately adjacent to a targeted creature. When a splash attack lands successfully, the targeted foe will receive the full brunt of the attack, while any enemies to their immediate left and right will receive half (50%) of the base damage of the initial attack.

See area-of-effect damage for damage that targets all enemies.
