Adventures (For the King 2)
Overview
There are currently five playable adventures and one infinite dungeon mode in For the King 2. Each campaign offers a lengthy tabletop experience, presenting unique mechanics, enemies, biomes, and rewards. Most can be completed easily in a couple hours, however that is entirely dependent on each player's personal playstyle and the level of difficulty. Once an adventure or campaign is completed (whether by winning or defeat), it is effectively "over", and those specific heroes cannot be brought into future adventures (they can, of course, be recreated from scratch).
The Resistance
Amidst Queen Rosomon's tyrannical reign, whispers grow louder, speaking of a rising movement called the Resistance. This new rebellion dares to challenge Queen Rosomon's rule and strive for a brighter future.
The Primordial Oak
With the guards left behind, the attention is now on the unsettling activity within the forest. Hildebrant urgently summons the group to join him on a vital investigation.
The Royal Mines
Hildebrant and the Resistance delve into the Queen's dark schemes in remote Fahrul. Echoes of vanished civilians in treacherous mines drive the party to uncover the Queen's descent into madness.
The Hangman's Noose
The Resistance and Hildebrant now face imminent execution. In a race against time, Grizelle takes charge, guiding the party on a quest through Fahrul's vast realms.
The Castle Gates
As their numbers dwindle, the surviving members of the Resistance ready themselves for a bold attack on the Queen's stronghold. The shadow of perpetual darkness looms, and their actions will shape Fahrul's future.
The Dark Carnival
Roll up, roll up! Chaos and disarray have arrived in town for an infinite evening of showstopping terror! The Dark Carnival awaits an eager group of adventurers bold enough to challenge its boundless revelry of torment.
The Royal Droll requests an audience. Do not keep him waiting.
